Andriake

Andriake was the port for the city of Myra. It did enjoy separate city status so was not part of Myra. The main grain silos was no doubt constructed on the orders of the Emperor Hadrian, well noted for the large building projects he ordered in the Empire

The modern port is slightly grungy, in a nice way, which is perhaps the reason why it`s also possible to pay a boat captain for a 4-hour tour of the Kekova.

There are a few fish stands and one restaurant from which you can enjoy wonderful sea and river views, or watch the local fishermen repair their boats.
